Washed away…Episode 12

After a short break, we are back at it.  Today, we are headed to Prince Rupert. An abnormally high tide nearly washes away the team’s camp and derails Paul Kuthe’s and company’s mission to explore the Butze Tidal rapids. This was a crazy episode to be a part of.  Filmmaker and co-producer Bryan Smith was right there in the midst of this bad mistake.  It was a close call to say the least.

Episode 2…Paul Kuthe

Twenty-six-year-old Paul Kuthe is out to change the sport he loves — sea kayaking. No small goal for a season.   Last summer Paul laid out a plan to explore the Butze Rapids in northern British Columbia and put it into motion.  Paul’s relationship to paddling extends deep into his life — all the way back to the day he lost his father to the river.
