Downhill mountain biking is a young kids game, at least that’s the standard line of thought. A 40-year-old body could not take the punishment of big airs gone wrong.  Scott  turns that notion on its head.  He’s been riding bikes as long he and his friends could figure out how to weld motorcycle handle bars onto Schwinns, but he didn’t discover the big bike, big air side of the sport until his fourth decade. To many of us, Scott’s routine is familiar. From a busy schedule running a successful chiropractor practice and raising a family, Scott carves out four rides a week. Four days in which he hones, tightens and improves his craft on his favorite local trails.  Just how good is he?  This season, Scott decided to head to Whistler B.C. — the crucible of downhill mountain biking — to test himself against some of the world class locals.
